How does STW work? Simple! Once you register and complete your payment we set up your own wedding site here at ShareTheirWedding. The process is not automatic because we need to create a whole website for you that includes levels of security. This website is fully equipped with all the tools to plan, control and share your wedding! How long does it take to set up my account? Your account will be active within 1 Australian business day. Do you charge a setup fee? No, we ask for a minimum payment of one quarter. This does not cover the cost of setting up your site, so this shows you the confidence we have that you will want to stay with us. Do you charge a cancellation fee? No. Who owns the material I upload? You do! We do not access your site, or use your data in any way. When you submit a support ticket there is an assumption we are free to gain sufficient access as is required to fix whatever needs fixing. What do I get for my money? A mini website that you control completely, it is equipped with all the tools you need to plan, communicate and share! The list of tools is here. What will the address be? You receive a personalised address. So if your names are Marcia and John then your address will be www.sharetheirwedding.com/MarciaJohn. If you prefer to use initials, nicknames etc we can actually set up anything you like. How is this different from FaceBook or MySpace Your Guests do not need to join yet another site if they do not wish to. All they need is the password you send them and they can participate in STW. The entire site is locked away behind security routines and a password, so no-one can get to see your special day without your permission. Our list of tools is more comprehensive than any of the social media sites and we have tech support! How do you make your money? We make money 3 ways:
Am I going to hate your advertisements? No! The success of STW rests on it being a friendly place to be - we only use very well behaved STATIC advertisements that don't annoy people. Click here to see the full FAQ on advertisements in STW. We also welcome your feedback.
